ملفات الارتباط هي ملفات نصية صغيرة يحفظها المتصفّح على جهازك عند زيارة أيّ موقع، فتُعينه على أداء وظيفته وتستعيد بعض معطياتك مثل تفضيلاتك. ونعتمد بجانبها تقنية قريبة تُسمّى التخزين المحلي (Local Storage)، ولا يتعدّى دورها لدينا حفظ اللغة التي اخترتها وقرارك المتعلّق بالموافقة.Cookies are small text files that the browser saves on your device whenever you visit any site, enabling it to do its job and to retrieve some of your data such as your preferences. Beside them we adopt a related technology called Local Storage, whose role with us goes no further than keeping the language you selected and your consent-related decision.

هذه الفئة لا بديل عنها لتشغيل الموقع بأمان والاحتفاظ بتفضيلاتك الأساسية، وتعطيلها يُوقف بعض أجزائه؛ ولهذا نُفعّلها من غير طلب موافقتك المسبقة.There is no alternative to this category for running the site securely and retaining your basic preferences; turning it off halts some of its parts, which is why we activate it without seeking your advance consent.

في زيارتك الأولى يظهر شريطٌ يعرض خيارين: الموافقة على كلّ الملفات، أو الاقتصار على الضروري منها. ونحتفظ باختيارك؛ فإن رغبت في تعديله لاحقًا، احذف بيانات التخزين المحلي من متصفّحك ثم أعد تحميل الصفحة ليعود الشريط للظهور.During your first visit a bar appears offering two choices: agree to all files, or limit yourself to the necessary ones. We keep your choice; should you wish to revise it later, delete the local storage data from your browser and then reload the page so the bar shows again.

تمنحك أغلب المتصفّحات إمكانية تعديل ملفات الارتباط أو إزالتها من قائمة الإعدادات، سواءً بمنعها أو بمحو ما سبق تخزينه منها. وانتبه إلى أنّ إيقاف الفئة الضرورية قد يحرم الموقع من بعض وظائفه. وعادةً ما تُتاح هذه الخيارات داخل إعدادات الخصوصية في متصفّحك.Most browsers give you the ability to modify cookies or remove them from the settings menu, whether by blocking them or erasing what has already been stored. Note that stopping the necessary category may deprive the site of some of its functions. These options are usually available inside your browser’s privacy settings.
